M'Michèle

In 2011, M’Michèle took part in several Festivals and events, such as the 2011 Nuit Blanche de Montréal, with a strong performance at the Musée d’Art Contemporain. She also wowed the crowd at the Chromatic event held by MASSIVart at the Société de Arts Technologiques (SAT).

 

M’Michèle was selected to represent Canada at the 10th International Harp Festival in Amsterdam. She has performed in Zurich, Las Vegas as well as all over Canada and the United States. Her soft and delicate voice can be heard in the soundtrack of the film ‘Sortie 67’. The Farha Foundation  called upon her to compose the music for their media campaign against AIDS. In 2008, she won the XM Satellite Radio grant.

 

M’Michèle has  performed in : Festival Montréal en Lumière, Festival de musique du bout du monde, Twestival, Cramponne-toi, Série Découvertes de la Place-des-Arts, , Festival Bières et Saveurs, Festival Mix’Art, the Much Music Awards festivities, North by Northeast, and many launchings, such as Nebbia at the TNM, Intantanés by Stéphanie Leduc, Zone Verte by Lisanne Binette and many others.

 

You have heard her with the group French Kiss, most prominently at the FrancoFolies de Montréal. . The song ‘’Le Soupir’’ can be found on the album ‘Espace Émergence Volume 1’. 

 

Early in her career, she was part of the resident band on VRAK TV’s Mauvais quart d’heure and played with Dr. Draw, Andrée Watters and many other artists on tour. She also collaborated on other album recordings, with artists such as Ariane Brunet, Yelo Molo, Dr. Draw, and others.
